I am happy to announce that there is now a Meetup Group here in New Haven, Connecticut! Meetup is a great way to get to know others who are living with Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance. The group members gather to share information, exchange recipes and have gluten-free fun together. If you don’t have a Meetup group in your area, there is no reason why you can’t start one yourself. Act quickly because the group is having its first outing tomorrow, Thursday, February 12th, 2009. They will be dining at a local pizzeria by the name of Bell’Amici in Guilford, Connecticut. In addition to the gluten-free pizza at Bell’Amici, I hear they have gluten-free cannolis and tiramisu! Do you think my Italian professor will understand if I skip class tomorrow night?
